Does it damage paint?

We are considering putting this on the side of some cabinets after we have them re-painted/re-glazed. Will this destroy the paint?

The material manufacture states the material as removable without damaging the paint, however it all depends on how well the paint adheres to the cabinet surface. If the cabinet is properly painted and is allowed sufficient time to thoroughly dry before applying the chalkboard decal, then the removal should not be a problem.
