Table is lovely but vases are the right centerpiece. The centerpiece should be low so that when sitting down you can see the person across from you without having to look through it. Also I would stack your metal art vertically rather than horizontal like you have it now. Art shouldn't be wider than the piece anchoring it to the space.

Thanks! It's actually not wider, although the picture may make it appear that way. I will consider vertical, I am also considering getting something else completely. I don't necessarily love what is there - my grandmother got it for me when I moved in but it's not entirely my style. I think there are a lot of options for what could go above - do you like a large clock?

In regards to the table, assuming I kept the vases, do you like how they are on the table or do they look random? Would you put them on the serving table instead and just do a centerpiece bowl with greens? I really liked the vases on table, I saw on an episode of Fixer Upper, but the table was set with place mats and settings. Also, there are 2 of us living here and we don't really eat at that table much. Appreciate your feedback and guidance!

Love large clocks, have one in my LR. As far as the vases go, I like them, but replace the clear one with another white one and pull them closer together. Enjoy

If you are going to use the side table as a bar table I would use decanters on it instead of other decor . IMO clocks never belong in entertaining spaces they just remind guests of the time constantly and I like my guests to stay as long as they wish. I too would like art above the sideboard a really great table runner would be nice in this case and I agree if going with the vases they need to be closer together and I always like candles in the center so maybe them insted When you can a great chandalier hung lower, something rectangular maybe

The vases want to be closer to each other and they do need an underliner - a tray or placemat or mirror.
