    Ooh, I wanna play!

Portulaca loves the Florida spring and is showing off right now. (The one in the back yard is even better, but it's closed up shop for the evening.)

No clue what this is, but it's so happy it's ready to burst!

Coming soon: blooms from his flatmate.

My Lewisia storytella (I think that is what they are called anyways) are going bonkers in the yard.

None of my other cacti or succulents are blooming right now, but I just love my Lewisia. The orange one has a couple pups I may separate out this season, hoping to find more at this years garden expo. One of the few succulents that are hardy in my zone.

It's a bit difficult to capture all the colors in this flower in photos - it is more colorful in person.

Non-succulent; only because it is such a beauty. Do you also have these on your side of the Atlantic?

I know i've already posted about this but my cactus has ANOTHER bloom now, so i'm very excited! Also my gasteria is looking about ready :)

Bulbine mesembryanthemoides got its first watering in a month when I decided the caudex underneath was starting to get loose as well! Currently looking very translucent (healthy for bulbines!) and pumping out a fourth bloom stalk as of today.

Interesting bulbine . I just have the orange and yellow common Bulbine frutescens that lives outside in the ground.

My first ever cactus bloom! I have no idea what cactus she is but I am THRILLED to see this white flower appear.

Does anyone know when she will open up? This photo was taken Tuesday afternoon and now (Wednesday evening) it still looks the same?

Did I miss the full bloom? Or is it still coming?

    Last gasp for May flowers!

This desert rose is relatively new. It bloomed quickly after I got it and hasn't even been repotted yet.

    Here's the flower -

And the close-up is pretty cool, too!
