    The space itself is 5'-5" wide x 2'-7" deep x 9'-0" high. The cabinetry itself is 5'-5" wide x 2'-5" deep x 8'-8" high. It is critical to check the dimensions of your washer & dryer to make sure you not only have enough space for the unit, but also clearance for your dryer vent in the back. If you're tight in space, you may be able to create a cove in the wall to make vent pipe turn.

      Can you still reach to pour detergents and things into the dispensers?

      It seems to work for the owners, since the washer & dryer are only raised 18" from the ground and these are front-loaded washer and dryers. I supposed it also depends on the size of your washer dryer units and your own personal height & comfort.
