My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Island color

What color is the island. Can't tell if it is painted or stained or how it was done. Beautiful!

    The island color is called Aquamarine from William Ohs and its a semi transparent stain with rub-through and glaze. Hope that helps. Give us a call if we can help you with your kitchen design and cabinetry!

      We would like to stain our island like this but cannot locate any stain by that name. Can you tell me where we can find it or purchase it. My husband is in the wood working trade. Thanks!

      the color is proprietary from William Ohs. I can tell you that it starts life as a much brighter blue before the black glaze goes on. All I can recommend is a little experimentation. You might contact a local cabinet or furniture finishing shop in your area for some help too.
