Please bear with me-

Looking for a low profile platform bed (no more than 12" off the ground) that would fit an 80x80 mattress- it's wider than a standard king.

It has to be a low profile so our buldogs can get up and down easy.

I've been looking everywhere, even went back to Gothic Cabinet who made our bed two years ago but for a standard king mattress, but they want to charge me 1k more now, which would bring it up to over 3k.

I was hoping not to spend more than 2k for a bed that's going into a second home, one we'll only be using on weekends and holidays.

Can anyone recommend something?
