Where are the shut off valves?

I want to do this, but would like to know where to position gas shut off as well as water valves so that there is good access. Also, is it possible to plug in the appliances and then push them into the tight space?

What a great question. To start, the gas shut off and water valves are behind the unit, accessible through the access panel in the adjoining closet... The electrical cords and gas whip are long enough to attach just outside of the closet before pushing into the opening; much like a conventional range in a kitchen. The dryer vent would be hooked up after the dryer is in place, through the access panel.

All of the connections could probably be made after the appliances are pushed into position but we recommend that you do it before hand for ease.

Hopefully that helps! Good luck and share pictures of your project when it's complete, would love to see how it turns out!

Castle Building: Do you have any photos of the access panel? I am trying to envision a similar set up. Thanks.
