Cabinet pulls to long

I ordered pulls for my cabinets that are a bit long not sure whether I should center them on the doors or place them more towards the top. I'm attaching photos option 1 is toward the top and option 2 is in the middle. No option to return them. thanks for any and all suggestions.

I agree, cut your losses and get single knobs for that style cabinet. You won't want to reach all the way up or down to open with the handle if it's centered. I'd choose a more traditional style knob with your cabinet style. Sorry.

I really like the pulls not a big fan of knobs so thinking I could order the same pull just in 5in instead of 12in do you think that would help?
