Soil is combination of sand and clay. Tree would go between the light post area and the end of the island shown here (i'll be extending the island). I need privacy so thick coverage and fast growing and i'd like a tree that will reach the second floor like the Maple. There are no powerlines or underground wires. I'd guess 10' from the street, 15' from the porch. Our area is not excessively windy however we do get hurricanes/tropical storms every few years that bring us 50+mph winds.

I'll have to think about this. The problem is any fast growing tree is going to quickly outgrow that spot. It doesn't have a lot of room to spread. You could put in a columnar cultivar. Or give up on fast growing and put something slow growing. Or put in something fast growing and resign yourself to having to chop it down some day.

Is this North or South of the house?

If there are no powerlines, you could move it closer to the road. It can spread it's upper branches above the road when it gets big.

OK. I can't think of something that has everything you want that would fit that location. You may have to decide what you want to compromise on.

Tupelo Tower would fit your site, resist hurricanes, not be messy, and have great Fall color. Catch is it grows really slowly and is hard to find.

Baldcypress would grow fast, not be messy, and resist hurricanes. Catch is it would get way to big for your spot.

Quercus macrocarpa 'Big John' or Regal Prince Hybrid Oak would be something in between.

You could also plant a male American Persimmon or a poplar.
