Yes...if it is done correctly. Do not go too heavy on the glaze and if you are buying new, ask for a sample before completing the order. It also depends on the rest of the styling of the house and what is on the floor. Here in Colorado we still love glazing on our cabinets but we also like a lot of wood on the floor. If your styling is more contemporary, I would skip it and stay with a simple cream color with no glazing. Happy decorating!
