I am redecorating our TV/Family room and am torn on what style to go with. We have light beige sectional sofa, reclaimed wood coffee table and reclaimed plank TV console... everything else is a blank slate and can be replaced. Instinctively I lean towards light blues & neutral... coastal feel. But our adults only formal living room is very similar so I am thinking something bright and fun for our 4 kids..... But then will these colors drive me crazy?

I guess if I do navy blue silk drapes, then only the pillow covers would need changing when I get tired of the brights?

My initial choice and I LOVE!

But thought something like this might be more enjoyable for the kids?
