Its not too flashy but just flashy enough to work well with your other items. It wont take about from the mirror because the mirror is eye level and it is so unique it will be your conversation piece.

If you don't like the look of the style we suggest. My other advice would to pull out a little bit of the white to brighten up the space a little bit. From the picture it looks alittle dark, that may be because it was taken at night and there are no table or floor lamps either (which I would suggest purchasing also) Here is another suggestion that we use all the time; very simple and contemporary but also very different and the finishes work well with what you have

You don't need end tables. A coffee table will meet the need. Do oval in shape.

What I think you do need to my left of your sofa is a floor lamp.

No problem, they are at Target. I thought the whiter top with the silver/mirrored legs might look good with the mirror & purples in the room. Target has some cute, affordable tables
