Second chair ... no buttons.

Assuming you went with the other three, I wouldn't choose an ottoman or a second chair until I'd chosen a rug ... if I were you, I mean. And if you have art you love that you want to hang there, you should take that into account before choosing the rug, too. Do you?

It looks like you have some pretty color choices for your furniture! Next, you will need to find a rug that will look great in the living room and that beautiful new furniture before you choose a paint color. I would look for a rug with some of the same shades of blue as the furniture but not a solid blue. Break up the blue with some other colors in the rug or you will end up having too much blue! Agree about the buttons. I'm leaning towards getting different chairs so I'm only looking at the sofa and ottoman combination. Unfortunately that's the only color that ottoman comes in. Do you think it would work with the the sofa colors (mushroom, teal or midnight blue)?

I would like to get art for the place but don't have any particulars in mind so I was thinking about looking for that at the end.

Rina, not seriously.........but I will look into it today :) I was planning on doing furniture, rug/curtains, art/decor in that order but I'll take a look at some rugs today and see what I like

No, forget that ottoman.Buttons, remember? Too many buttons. Even if you don't get the chair. That's because the sofa and chair are both seating, and seeing them match in style is fine. But the ottoman? Not so much. I love the colour I picked up for the sofa and chair. If you love them too, stick with them. They are a wonderful starting point.
