You need to define ''reasonable''. For a faucet, prices could be $100-$2500.

What Sophie says is so true. And I have changed my mind since my first comment, and I'm going today to look at models of California faucets. I also think it could be important to get a PVD finish, especially since I live near the beach and have my windows open all the time. For me, a kitchen faucet is such an important item that I am willing to splurge. But I also want to love the design. If you were to choose a Delta product, and I think that that is a safe choice if you get one of their higher and ones, you can get one of their brilliance finishes such as brilliance polished nickel, and then you will have a PVD ("forever ") finish as a reasonable, under $500, price.

Thanks, I agree the kitchen faucet is an important fixture. I ordered the Grohe "Ladylux Pull-Down High-Arc Kitchen Faucet with 2-Function Locking
Sprayer" from Faucets Direct for $504. That was reasonable to me. Hopefully I will like it!

Did you see it in person first and feel it? I have seen it and it's lovely. It's probably a great choice.

No, I didn't, so I am glad to hear that!

It swivels 360 degrees, so you might be able to mount it with the handle in front, which is what I plan to do. I am so tired of wiping dripped water from the counter. There are a couple of discussions about that and I'm sold!

We just got a Grohe one that we're pretty happy with, we paid around $450 for it
