We recommend leaving your new pavers alone for the first season you have them. Then, the next year it's a good idea to do a 'clean and seal'. No, it's not absolutely necessary, but it does help them in several ways. First, if you clean them every year, you will keep them looking nice and eliminate stains, moss, etc. Then, a sealant for your pavers can be done every 3 years or so. A sealant will help to protect the pavers from staining and also will help to enhance the color of the pavers. Always be sure to test your area, and follow all directions carefully.
