Thanks for the ideas! These windows face the street so thinking I might have to stick 1 inch white wood blinds as we already have them in the downstairs rooms. I like the idea of matching the curtains to the wall for a serene feel. Also, wondering if a pattern would be more interesting.

My first thought was like a pale burlap or linen, but once I saw the blue dressers in the second photo, I thought maybe a classic blue and white pattern. Maybe an abstract swirl, or a simple floral.

I'd stick to the white wood blinds idea otherwise you'll have big blocky visuals that will clash with everything else.
