Greetings. The stain is a mix of "Classic Grey" and "Ebony" from Minwax. The finish on the floors is "Satin".

What are the proportions of ebony and gray stains in the custom color? I have even planning to use a higher gloss finish because I am afraid that the gray color may tend to look drab. We have just stained my newly laid white oak kitchen floors for what is to be my new gray and white kitchen with a 1/3 gray 2/3 ebony combo and it is pretty but not gray. Contractor is willing to correct, but I prefer not to sand new floor again. Please advise me so I can advise him. Thank you, thank you. LRCB

Hi, are you sure its 25% ebony and 75% grey and not the other way around? did you use a dye first?
