More Tillandsia's..on a arbor.

As one of my older Tillandsia's "tree", stumps just got too rotten and cats..well,it was done for. So,Most all of the T.bergeri,and some others I never have gotten an ID on. Again,when sold they were sold as T.species. Great.

So, now with Nematanthus,an orchid Laelia anceps, a Platycerium lemonii ( should get up right fronds and silver colored) and T cyanea . I'm looking to add Columnea,Aeshynanthus, more Orchids. Funny how all that weighs almost nothing. I have much more Spanish moss to the left..but couldn't get it in the pic. Its always fun to have that.

Hi everyone.

Stan - I've always like Tillandsias and other small bromeliads best when randomly mounted such as you have done here. They give more of an impression of plants growing naturally in habitat rather than in regimental straight lines on benches.

Looks good.

Thanks Nev. I forgot to mention to the bottom right is a neat Aeschynanthus 'Rasta' Not a great bloomer..but the foliage turns purple in summer and in tight curls. Blooms mostly late summer- winter for me in California. That will be brought up closer to the rest I think also.

Its one reason I like to post..to catch things I wouldn't normally.

Hi everyone.

Stan I've found that posting pic's on forums is also a great way to keep a second record of your pictures. Often I have a plant that looks good and I think, "I'll have to take a pic of that for my files", but somehow it doesn't get done. If I know I need to post it on a forum it prompts me to pull my finger out and take the picture instead of putting it off.
