Is this a rendering of what you were thinking of doing? First off eliminate the mullion styled doors and use the framed areas for an interesting glass, maybe a color that is blue or green to pick up a more beachy theme.. possibly pick up some pendant lights for over the counter in a industrial style with some blue green globes...

A roman shade over the sink window (stripe pattern possibly), small light colored (sand) chairs at the counter, a few sea foam green and agean blue decorative items on the shelf to start. Your kitchen is stunning as it is - - by the way.
