I have an edulis Frederick passion vine. Here is a pic. It gives fruit too.

I've been thinking of a passion vine -- would love to see it in bloom! So glad I didn't keep the flame vine!

I have a passiflora edulis as well, but be forewarned. If you end up with gulf fritillary caterpillars, they will eat holes in the leaves and eat the flowers as well. This variety of passionvine is estimated to live 5 -7 years.

Thanks for the tip on the passiflora edulis. My flowers are just opening this week and yes getting eaten. With your tip, I will look for the fritillary caterpillars. I have seen the butterfly around. This is just my 2nd year with the passiflora.
