i like the carport but not the small gable roof. i would take that off and put a standing seam metal roof on the carport - some color that would look good with the rest of the house. maybe beef up the front posts. i would maybe paint just the top part of the house a different color - from the stone colors shown. i would then landscape the front.

Rethink your budget and decide if another house is the better way to invest. This one has been built without any consideration towards design as the exterior doesn't seem to know what it is! Is it contemporary with the shed roof portion? Traditional (when looking at the central area) or perhaps a ranch hybrid (with the wierd gable added to the porch roof)? Are you confident you will see a return on your investment? Seek out an architect if you are committed to staying here to advise you on this one as it could go from bad to worse with very little effort. Good luck.

I think that you need to consult with an architect, but for sure, I'd get rid of the carport.

Carport is functional shelter. Take off the little gable on it.

I would spend your $100K on landscaping and exterior paint. The carport looks fine to me - it has a mid century modern appeal, and I would take the exterior color in that palette direction. Perhaps a beautiful steel blue body with an orange door to complement the stone on the facade. A well thought out landscape design will go a long ways!....and with any left over $$ line the driveway and yard with new pave stone.
