Did you repot it or did it come in same pot ?

I did repot it into a larger pot. It kept blowing over in the small pot it was in.

Sometimes plants drop all of their blooms when in shock. Which is what I think is happening since all the foliage isn't looking too bad, still looks like it will pull through. Some times when it's freaking out I'll give it some part shade to help ease the shock, only a week or so, until it starts to look back to normal. Also trim all the dead blooms back so the plant doesn't spend any energy on the spent blooms.

Thank you for giving me hope! Do I need to trim the dead blossoms off? Or just leave it be, move it to some shade and wait it out?

Yes trim the dead blooms off. The plant in general seems to look OK. Just dropped blooms. So I would see what happens after you trim the blooms. If after a few days seems sad then I would move it to some shade. If you want post a picture on here and we can see how she is doing

Lavenders are extremely forgiving of extreme conditions but not mismatched soils. What kind of soil did you use..., it looks kind of peaty.

Standard mircle grow potting soil specific for potted plants, should I change out the soil?

Standard MG ps is awful!

Planting it in sawdust would be an improvement in my opinion.

Don't change the soil this season. Let It settle and if you need to switch next year

also, lots of water. Lavender likes well draining soil, but when they are getting established, you need to water well. I would cut the old dried up buds off.

I used MG Potting soil too, it's been my go to for years, but the lavender topiary we got for my little one's fairy garden doesn't seem to like it. Is there something you'd recommend for replacement soil? I read yesterday online that cactus soil is good?? Otherwise, what is a good "tree" for a 9b fairy garden? She wanted something like an English garden. Two pics for before and after.

I can only imagine that the water required by the other plants is too much for the lavender. You have mixed plants with different requirements.

Never cut lavender back to old wood, as it won't re-grow successfully. Cut back green branches and stems by half, once flowering is finished....

Some info (link below) about growing them in pots. I've grown Lavender for years in Tx, containers and ground, and much prefer putting them in the ground. In pots, I've successfully used herbs as companion plants, rather than flowers (especially annuals).
