I just had two built in dog kennels put in but couldn't find anything like the metal on the door here & just used plastic lattice. I love this look much better. Also any hints on what type of locks to use would be great. Our contractor was pretty unhelpful in that area & tried to use a baby lock, which does not secure my dogs nor does industrial velcro.

We are having our kitchen redone with two built in dog crates. Where did you get the grate?

You can find pretty, decorative mesh at vandykes.com. It's expensive though
