Having a really tough time getting motivated back into sewing, but I decided to just go ahead an DO IT. Working on the May lotto blocks - figured polka dots would maybe give me a lift. I picked an odd one, tho....kind of a muted spring green background with white polka dots.... Maybe whoever wins the blocks might like a few on the quiet side! I wonder how they'll look.....

Got my fabrics pulled for the June block and rinsed them in some cold water. Once they're dry - I hope to cut and piece them and move on to a chair cushion cover for my sister. I may have to make a mock-up first to be sure things go together the right way before cutting into the good fabric.

I am FINALLY going to get a chance to do a little quilting tonight! We had a dinner theater show Friday night, then worked at our Lions Club pancake breakfast on Saturday and hosted 20 people from church for a potluck at our house last night! This morning I helped a rescue group transport 2 puppies from Ft. Collins to Cheyenne, WY this morning, then came home and weeded in my raspberries since has FINALLY stopped raining here! I have a comfort quilt pieced and sandwiched and need to get it done by Tuesday afternoon. Will post photos when I get it done!

Ibquiltin, part of the reason my stole has taken so long is because of making a test one out of inexpensive fabric, then test stitching my embroidery design and testing the actual fabrics. Sometimes it's really worth the extra effort.

Sue, when do you sleep? LOL Can't wait to see your quilt.

Speaking of the stole, I am finally making good progress. I have the pieces cut out and interfaced; now I just need to sew it. That will be the easy part! :)

Donna, sleep? Doesn't happen often enough!! I have insomnia, but hate to get up and sew at night because it makes DH crazy. For some reason, if I am up, he has trouble sleeping ... :(
