You don't. Bleached wood is not minimal work under any circumstances. You put down some rugs and thank goodness that a classically finished floor will easily outlast that stupid fad.

Replace the floor. By the time you do that, the bleached wood look will be just as over with as the black wood floors that are now out of fashion.
