Maybe a little plain but trees and plants will help or you could do the stone have way up maybe to the bottom of the window? Imo. It is a beautiful house!

I guess the balance seems off to me. The weight of the column on the far right is too slender to carry the second floor visually. Perhaps a piece of wall with arches to visually balance the left and carry the gravity of the second floor on the right? Still too plain? maybe a couple of corbels on each side of the window on the left to visually support the soffit?

Carry the stone around the garage at the same height as the stone supports for the porch pillars. Change the horizontal siding to vertical board/batten, and tone down the paint color to help it recede in relation to the rest of the house.

The gable decoration on the garage looks more "important" than that on the house...either make them agree or swap them.

I think part of the problem is the "camera" angle which highlights the garage wall. Try "walking" fifteen paces to your right for a vantage point that favors the porch instead of the garage (although I know you probably like seeing through the porch...which I like too).

Change the light source to upper right instead of upper left. In your present rendering, the shadow on the far right "lawn" gives the impression of a wraparound porch, when in fact, if I'm seeing it correctly, the porch does not wrap, it stops at the corner. The illusion of a wraparound porch causes gut level concerns about the single corner post being insubstantial. Can you add another image showing an oblique view of the right front corner with your rendering app? I suspect the corner post would look perfectly substantial from that angle.

I realize it would cost more to build, but if the porch projected out further I think it would help pull focus to the house/home instead of attention being pulled leftward by the relatively large garage presence.

I do like the *idea* of the garage not presenting to the street...but I can see now that it causes a design challenge — what to do with that relatively wide, uninhabited wall that results...which would normally be on the "side" of the house where nobody would notice or care if it looked "a little plain."

The garage space is great and a nice rest for the eye, the balance is good. The problem for me is the overhanging upper story on the right...it is making me a bit anxious. Perhaps pulling the upper story back from the edge a bit or adding more bulk below to increase balance and help me with this anxiety I feel for that little pillar. Other than that nice place, love the stone work! :D

I am certainly not a Professional on this matter, but because I am just in the midst of looking at plans of this style to have a home built, I look at it from a different respect. I think the house design has issues on the right side not garage side. The right side looks to be floating on the column or just sitting on it . Like the house is held up by that column on the end

It actually looks perfectly fine as you have it. Perhaps add some stones on the lower half of the garage wall, but not necessary.
