Hi and thank you so much for the nice compliment. The counter is walnut that has several coats of a clear finish applied to it, giving it its luster and the wood grain depth. I hope this helps!

House of L -- how does that walnut counter hold up to water and the sink? Have you had any clients complain or wish they had gone with stone?
