Non-gas stove tops

I cannot use a gas stove in my condo. I am debating about high quality electric and induction stove tops. I've read about the pros and cons of induction. Does anyone have recommendations on brands? I cook but I am not making highly sophisticated dishes. Thank you.

I have used a whirlpool (10 yrs) and GE (5 years) 5-burner e glass cooktops. We cook 3 meals a day for 7 people (5 kids), and never had problems with any- plus cleanup is super easy, since I just spray and wipe. Not super "high end" but I've had no trouble with them. Unlike gas, all electric are a little different, and you'll need to give it a few weeks to "learn" your machine.
