My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Finally finished the stole!

I needed a little peace and quiet today, so I finally got in the sewing room and finished this stole for my friend. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. It's reversible so she can use it for two liturgical seasons. The red side is silk dupioni and the green is Kona cotton. I got the cross & flame embroidery pattern for free somewhere on the internet, and I adapted the appliqued cross and embroidery from a design I saw in a catalog.
