Don't let a small space backyard deter your visions of enjoying an outdoor living space with a pool. With Spool Pools (aka Cocktail Pools) no space is too small, even in the small yards of the Los Angeles Metro!
For this project in West Hollywood, we kept with the minimalist style of the house, and implemented low maintenance turf to compliment the lush green privacy bushes. Maximizing the seating area, we extended the patio towards the master bedroom, out to the pools edge, and connected the pathway to a new seating patio under the roof extension.
With daily sun in California, no spool is complete without a tanning ledge and a grassy space for reading!

10 years agoSmall pools are great. Ours is raised, which is easier to get in and out of. And we don't get as much debris as a ground level pool.
