You all do such a great job on this site; I'd greatly appreciate your input. I've just rented a condo that I like but it does not get much natural light and is monochromatic and looks 90's to me. Plus, my favorite design is farmhouse modern. (I have an ideabook for farmhouse modern as davidwms.) What can I do (1) increase the light and (2) blend in some more sophisticated rustic design. (The attached pictures show the former owner's furniture, not mine.)
