Help! First timer with basic herbs

I have lemon mint, peppermint, bee balm and lemon balm growing in separate terracotta pots on my porch. They got infected what I believe are mites and I started spraying them with Safer insecticidal soap. Following the direction I've sprayed them once throughly for about 6 day in a row. They are looking very burnt with brown edges on most leaves. The peppermint is looking mostly yellow. I plan on stopping treatment? Even the new leaves on the lemon mint are browning at the tips. I'm wondering if I should trim the plants so new growth can start or let them be with normal maintenence. Any and all advice is welcome. Thank you.
