vases, baskets, boxes, statues (roosters, ducks, birds), cages...anything you would like. A hint....lay waxed paper over your top cupboards before putting anything up there.....when you need to clean up there, just throw away the waxed paper and lay down new.

There are several angles: 2 doors, and changing uppers - my idea if it'd fit your style - a fairly large rectangular stained glass piece in your colors. You don't have to place anything there, but a great view from the other side of the room for a neutral kitchen, adding life.... but! are you adding color in other ways?

Good point - maybe 1 large light would do it.

You didn't well what I could tell! This idea for the shape etc... I know you have pendants up, but they are quite small, do you think so I wonder? This isn't elegant but plays up shape. I understand you said you'll wait on it.

Brass could play up/ catch some sunlight though.

Paint your walls and ceiling the same white; same finish...matte.

You have light toned doors and cherry toned cabinets.

Tough call for a white, but it needs to be the same white for both.

Your existing pendants appear undersized for the room and mounted too high. The room could use some contrast for interest and so I have added some wall decor with black as the main color.

I would also check the style and wattage on your downlights. Their light doesn't seem to add anything to the room. You want a dimmable LED that looks similar to this.

Love the ideas of changing out the light fixtures. Mine are 10 years old. Thanks!
