Tomatoe plants dying

My tomatoe plants are wilting and dying .
They have been growing well and strong then when we get home lately they are wilted and the leaves are hanging limp. I was wondering if any one is having the same problem

Wilting because of high temperatures under direct sun, can happen to any tomato plant. Case in point : My own plants during last 3 days have been wilting. It has been in 85F to 95F coming out of 60s. But when the sun moves away and they get shaded then perk up soon.

But you have to make sure that the soil is moist Maybe a little extra watering under such conditions should be ok. But I wouldn't water them every time I see them drooping. Little by little they should acclimate.

ONE MORE THING: When watering, take time and water the gently and real deeply. Shallow watering can make the roots stay near the surface and get thirst too often.

Bacterial wilt? Plants droop during the day, but revive overnight, only to repeat the process.

There are many potential causes for plants wilting, even healthy ones. Bacterial Wilt, a relatively rare and geographical regional-oriented condition, is only one of them.

We would need much more information about your plants and growing methods to accurately diagnose the problem. Your location, age of plants, in ground or in containers, size of containers if used , water regimen, unusual weather lately, feeding regimen, a photo if possible, etc. etc.
