What a challenge, but what a beautiful room! Narrow, vertical art is an option, as well as a series of smaller piece "stacked" over one another -- but not too many because you don't want to look cluttered. I'm appending A Moment in Time and Just the Two of Us, which are 14 inches wide and 38 inches tall, each, and have the same sweeping, elegant feeling of the room.

There are a lot of antique japanese six piece screens on 1stdibs.com. Very very expensive. You could take a look if you dare. Beautiful! I'll try to find something more reasonable.

Stunning space. You're going to need pieces of significant scale to have the appropriate impact. Can you advise the measurement between the dado rail and the top of the opening? And the length of your table?

If budget permits, recommend you look for / commission a multi-panel work of tall, narrow panels such that their top edge aligns with the top of the opening, and spans just within the length of the dining table. Bespoke makers such as ourselves can create artworks to your specific measurements.

Suzyq's Oriental picture is the best solution. You need something dramatic and huge or it will be dwarfed by the wall and the table.

You know you do not need to decorate the whole wall! Keep the art/decor at eye level when standing. A few inches over the chair molding and a few inches lower than the door jamb.

You might consider buying fabulous fabric like any one of these and have them framed in tall thin frames. The top three are by Scalamandre so very upscale.

ssternklar I just saw your question among the comments. It looks like the curvature is least pronounced in the middle of the curved wall (is that correct? I can't tell from the photos/video). You don't want to cover the entire wall, and it's easier to put long artwork on the least curved part of the wall, so I'd center the artwork on the wall without going too far to the left or right where there's more curvature. As far as height, I wouldn't go too far above the rail line of the upstairs landing. And with the chair rail, that gives you about 6 feet?

So with this artwork, you can do 3 panels of 32" wide by 6' high.

This little lamp on the table needs to go. Too small and out of scale with the other furniture in the room. New lamp. Table closer to sofa so it has a purpose.

Hire a professional muralist. I always wanted one of the African sunset backdrops from the Museum of Natural History for a dining room wall. If you're near a museum, you might find an artist who work for them who'd take commissions.
