I don't know the name but I once lived in such a house in LA. My children shared that tub room - worked quite well!

Yes, Jack & Jill, although often the toilet is also shared so it doesn't work as well. (The wrong doors get left locked...)

There are tons of Jack and Jill set ups here in Portland bungalows. Mine has one! It seems almost all smaller one have it, actually.

Never saw this until moving to the west coast.
