We are building a new house and putting together a kitchen. The kitchen flows into the great room. The flooring is travertine tumbled stone, the cabinets are light ivory with a carmel glaze. We like caesarstone, but can't decide whether to go with the dark brown emperadoro or with a lighter ivory color. The backsplash is ivory with the possibility of picking up the dark brown. I don't like a colonial look and I'm worried A dark color might take me in that direction. I'm between traditional and contemporary in my preferences. Please help
