Pruning now

My "bush" has long arms. And more than two! I pruned him in February but this is how he grew anyway. This is only his second year in the ground.


There are still buds at the ends of some of the arms. What would you do with him? Should I wait until everything has bloomed and then trim the arms back?

    What is the rose? It may just be starting to get it's mature growth and this is normal. The rest of the bush will eventually catch up as it continues to mature. In any case I would let it bloom out before I'd think about pruning it.
