Bushes with flowers will add color and life to the stone wall. For example azaleas in a soft coral.

If you are seeking that contemporary mid century design, perhaps accent with a grey and put in a new garage door that really exemplifies a contemporary look!

Your house could use just a few tweaks to really make it a showstopper.

1) Lose the shutters. Way too small and serve no purpose.

2) Replace wrought iron columns with something simpler.

3) Pick a taupe color that works with the stone and paint the siding, trim and garage door that color.

4) Paint the front door a color that draws the eye and makes it a focal point.

5) Landscape.

6) Replace the garage door if funds are available (the existing one looks pretty rough).

7) If funds are available, replace the front door with a mid century modern style door and don't put the storm door back.
