We have 3, 6x12 skylights, in the 20 foot ceiling in our old loft. They are great, except the heat generated is overwhelming. The old blinds are simple and nice, but need replacing as the mechanics are worn and fabric dirty. Any suggestions for remote controlled, some light emitting, but perhaps reflective, so heat is kept out, beautiful, and not too crazy expensive? They also need to be closely fitted within a frame work of drywall and huge wooden beams, so not draping.
