What about building a 4" platform for the credenza? That may be the best way since I believe trying to add height to the legs of the credenza would look weird. Here is an article to tell you how to make the other table higher:

I think it would be easier to get a low enough chair than raise the desk and credenza.

@Elle when you're tall and you have the seat low, it creates an uncomfortable bend of the knees.
@Bev and @einportlandor - those seem like potentially two good ideas.

@Bliss Tile - Unfortunately, I don't think we're in the position to hire someone. Going to need to be a DIY project. I kind of want the feet to be a different color - like gold.

i had the same idea as einportlandor, casters would make this work.

for the credenza i would remove the existing feet and either add taller ones or add a block in between the foot and body. (if the feet are removable, cant quite tell). other wise, casters all around.

The tapered end of the current legs on each piece make this a bit challenging. Try prettypegs.com for lots of legs and feet. Here are some in gold that just might work...they are called Theodor 120. But other comes in different finishes and could also be painted. Good luck!

@Lisa Williams - those are gorgeous. Yes, i agree, that makes it hard. from corner to end, I think those legs at the bottom are 2", so I don't think those would work.

Maybe a ball foot? Are you looking for something smaller, larger or the same size as the bottom of the current legs?

Liking the idea of casters. Has anyone seen any that have clear wheels and gold metal (with a break)? Any tips would be great!
