Yes, ordered it without seeing the color. Just trying to match the exact color of white. Have my paint color book and have been calling retailers to find a white one on the floor but no luck so far. I was hoping to find the color make up so I could pass that along to my cabinet maker.

The manufacturer may be able to let you know where the nearest retailer may have one in stock..

They also may be able to inform you of any other appliance that comes in that same color that may be easier to find...any retailer that carries the brand may also be able to help direct you to the right person to answer these questions..

I will tell you right now that even if you did color match the color will look different because you will be using a different paint and on a different surface

It is unlikely that they will be able to provide you with a formula that will translate to paint for the cabinets ...so the match will most likely fall on you if you are qualified to match the color to a chip...since you are so precise on what you want you may be the best person to do this in any case

Patricia makes a good point...I do think you can get a good color match ....but the finish on an appliance is applied like paint on a car and the sheen and finish may not be exactly matchable ...to most people this may seem like splitting hairs..to them the result may not be worth all this effort...but as a colorist I completely understand how these efforts can make a subtle but effective difference

Thank you all for your advice! I found the white refrigerator on the floor at Best Buy and feel better about my "white" paint selection now. Since it's a small kitchen, I wanted to get the colors in the same tone. I've seen whites that are gray and others that have a yellow cast to them. I just needed verification that the fridge didn't have a yellow cast to it since my house is in the cool coastal colors. You guys are the best! thanks for the help!

Also helps to know the exact white of the refrigerator when you have to repaint the rust spots around the water dispenser. Both the original door and the replacement door (amazing that I got it covered under warranty) developed rust spots. Now I need metallic paint to cover the rust.

Please do not buy a Samsung fridge. Mine leaked 13 months after we bought it. it ruined my floor. it ices up in the back and under the bottom drawer. it ruins food on a regular basis. when you call consumer cares at Samsung, they will tell you it is a warranty issue. imthat is probably a lie. Samsung fridges have known design defects since 2006 and there are class action suits against them. Sarch on YouTube for Samsung fridge recall and you will find news stories about the thousands who have demanded reparation. if you bought a Samsung fridge, send it back or buy an extended warranty. or research other options to get refunded the money stolen from you when Samsung sold you a "lemon".

I bought mine at Best Buy, too, and walked over to Lowe’s where they had a Samsung white chip in the appliance department.

My contractor also said that the paint guys can get the color makeup from the serial no. But I cannot personally verify the truth of that.

IMO the lighting in your space can have a huge efect on color so to sektron make sure your lighting is all LED 4000K yo keep whites from looking cream

yes, please advise on your color choice. I used paint chips from Benjamin Moore’s many whites and while looking at it at Lowes, under showroom light, I thought Seapearl looked like the closest match. My refrigerator will arrive next week. Ill know more then. My lighting in my kitchen will be 2700, not showroom florescent, so I could be way off. But the undertone appears to be gray, not yellow.
