I agree. Option 3 is more serene. But it really is a matter of personal preference.

I like 2. 3 is blah. Remember it won't look quite so busy on a horizontal surface either.

Thanks i really like the striations similar to these pics below. Option 2 i feel is pure white between the lines. Option 3 similar to pictures but not as deep contrast in the lines.. Also option three has that line running through and cant avoid with the island cut. but that's too be expected with natural stone

I like option 3. However if you want more of a statement and like the dark lines then def opt 2.

If it were me, I'd go with #3.

I love #3 because it appears to give you more color options for a backsplash or decorating. I also love how calm it is.

#2 is great based on your inspiration photos, but these particular slabs have the lines kind of diagonal so it wouldn't look quite the same as your inspiration photos. If you're okay with diagonal lines and love the boldness (it's still a very calm stone when horizontal), go for #2.

Thanks all I really like #2 for the pop on boldness but not sure how it will look on its on the counter. I think 3 might be a safer bet and something I don't have hesitation about

I must just have different taste from everyone. #2 is my least favorite. Its lines in close-up look too "squiggly" to me. I like #1 the best cause of the amount of white open-ness, and its dark parts are chunkier. It looks so "of the earth". If it were my kitchen, I'd get #1.

Traditional 3. Me, I think 3 would be easier to find a backsplash....and it appears to have more depth.

House style is transitional so either would fit.

Hi @kanupriyakhare We actually sold the house at the end of last year. But I used the kitchen/stone for five years. No food staining whatsoever, and it was indestructible. No chips or cracks anywhere. I used a sealant. Once in a while around the sink there was some temporary water staining but it would go away. Good luck
