phoooootoooooo..... :)

The room is basically empty as everything was Tinker Bell theme before...open to suggestions. She does love teal, orange, and hot pink =D

That does seem a little somber for an 8 yo

Are you sure you want to keep the bedding? There are other Paris sets with the colors she likes. I would probably keep the walls white with that set.

I thought the same but yes, she loves it and does not want to change. Anything fun to play around with it?

Maybe dusty pink walls would match some of the background color? Like around QE image.

I was also thinking a light pink! I used to have a shop on Etsy and there were several shops that sold vintage Paris items and most of them that I saw were black, pink, and white. Here is what I'm talking about:

There are so many more ideas from shops on Etsy! Just type in their search engine: Paris bedroom decor and all of this great stuff pops up. Good luck!

As to the neutral tan-nish color in bedding - ? wood flooring, or carpeting to repeat with a wood piece.... but I really liked acm's post.... I think it's actually gold.

28" tall and also $119. In clear and black.

I would play up the black and white. Avoid that tan/brown at all costs (i.e., ditch the brown pillow covers)! Bright, crisp white walls with lots of black statements.

Thank you so much! @acm I didn't even think about changing the sheets to give it a little color!!! I have a sewing machine and can make it work :D

@Interior Designer - Home Stylist I LOVE the statement gold has. Found an awesome painting of the Eiffel Tower in Black and White with gold accents earlier today and I have a gold compass painting just sitting in my garage.

Going to show my daughter and see what she thinks. Hope to add before and after pix soon. Thanks again :)

Let her feel like life is like swinging on the swing set, and dreaming of a big tomorrow [in Paris?!]

... for now why a sophistication beyond the bedding? Aw, give her some brights and a feather lamp...... :)

Here I go pushing for sophistication, but it's beautiful and on sale oops..
