i doubt pendants will go out of style, but right now very large ones seem the trendiest, that will certainly change, as will finishes.

if you dont spend too much on them you wont mind changing to another style down the road.

Pendants are perfect when you have an island. I do not have an island nor plan on getting one so I will not be needing pendants.
