If you have the space, it would be better to move them now (and they should move quite easily at this stage). They might end up being rubbish and will get in the way of the tomato plants that you intended to grow.

I have left volunteers in the past, worked around them, and then found that they weren't really worth all the effort. However, one was a volunteer Sungold which was orange and not bad at all.....

It is my understanding that volunteers from hybrids are unpredictable and usually inferior to the mother plant.

I don't suggest to keep the volunteers. Way too many
problems with them.

I guess I'm not seeing the problem volunteers then. Can you mark the plants in question on the photo? Otherwise, as others have mentioned I usually find volunteers to be a waste of time and effort.

I had a volunteer plant two years ago at a rental house. It grew right through the brick pavers next to my parking spot. I kept it watered and let it grow. The tomatoes it put out were small, but tasty. I saved some seeds and planted them out the next year. Those didn't do well at all--I think I only got one tiny tomato from one of the 15 plants I had. Luckily, I bought two heirloom variety plants that put out more than I could eat.

I now have a volunteer in my front yard, but the shade from an oak tree will probably hinder its growth. I'll let it grow since it's out of the way and not very visible, but don't have any expectations.

Good luck with yours! I have a few, but we had a heat wave. I thought there was no hope for fruit set, but one of the biggest now has two tomatoes on it. I absolutely can't wait until they ripen. We may have to shade them, but at least we got fruit set. I can always take cuttings and root them elsewhere if those turn out to be good.

Last year I made the mistake of letting volunteers grow in my containers with other tomatoes and squash. The volunteers grew huge and blocked the sun from the rest of the varieties (plus half of them were yellow pear and those aren't a favorite).

This is year I've potted up my volunteers and given them to friends with the space to waste on mystery plants.
