To make the decision id need to see drain placement in the drawing. I would opt for A.

B would be a better option if you were building a curbless shower and continued waterproofing outside the shower. The curb or Bumper as you call it!! may look odd glassless and be a tripping concern IMHO.- best

Neither one will work to allow you to turn on the water and not get drenched with a giant cold shot. You need to post the entire layout, and drain locations planned. What you have isn't really workable.

It will work just fine. It may not be ideal or a design triumph but it will work. You really should include vanity/toilet/etc locations if you want proper design advice because as stated above it could be improved upon simply by glass layout (If possible).

As you can see, we are replacing the stock shower and bathtub with a walk in shower. The walk-in shower is the same size as the former bathtub. You can do a curbed shower with that design, but not curbless. Consider locating the valve where you can reach it from outside the shower. It needn't be on the same wall as the head.
