Hi Meg, thanks for the feedback! We are still working with the clients to nail down the exact colors, we typically do extensive mock-ups once we are further along in the construction process. We will keep you posted.

Thanks! Picking out paint has got to be the hardest decision I have had to make as we remodel our MCM house. It can make or break the project. Wishing you and your clients all the best on such an amazing house; we're just down the coast in HB!

FYI: decided to go white on our stucco and Sherwin Williams Gauntlet Gray on the balcony and trim. Will probably go Dovetail on the cinder block; Aquarium on the front door. Our final balcony will look a lot like your remodel with an open metal railing. Should wrap up in 4 weeks. Did a mock up with Sherwin Williams' software.

Yes! I am so glad we went with the open railing. I use the balcony way more than I used to when it was a bead board box. The stucco is Eider White, trim Gauntlet Gray, and the cinderblock is Dovetail, all from the Sherwin William's palette. The stucco changes color throughout the day. I sometimes see a slight pinkish hue in the front, but it looks a cool gray in the back of the house. That's the frustrating part of choosing paint. Eider White is in the same family as as Gauntlet and Dovetail. I never get tired of Gauntlet and Dovetail. Next up is our back deck. I will be continuing the horizontal railing in the back and the whole thing will be painted Gauntlet. Eventually we'll tackle the landscaping. Thank you for asking about our progress.
