They appear to be varied carpet beetles, which are pollen eaters. I see them frequently on flowers in my gardens.

The other (yellow box) is a lacewing larva. The latter is considered highly beneficial, feeding on soft bodied insects and eggs.

The beetles, though not a good thing when found inside the home, do no damage to the flowers that they are found feeding on.

Lacewing larva, awesome! I wasn't sure what they looked like. I have found a few ladybug larva. I was hoping to attract some of these beneficials by letting some things flower and go to seed.

You've made a very wise decision in letting some of your herbs flower. That practice is precisely how to attract pollinators and other beneficials.

I always try to keep a "some for me, some for thee" attitude, especially with herbs. Watching the bee frenzy on basil flowers makes me smile.
