Hi Jason: It is a good idea to lead questions with your climate zone or location at this forum. I had to learn that myself, and have not been around too long The people around here are really knowledgable, and love to help. They are not going to give out a guess or incorrect answer. That is a fairly common weedy clumping grass that grows in a wide range of climates and soils, it has adapted well. Broadleaf weed poiosns will not harm it while many Crab Grass poisons may not either.

The easiest solution for getting rid of it is to dig the plants out.
